Abstract: Rudyard Kipling, der berühmte, in Indien geborene, Autor des „Dschungelbuches“, schrieb einmal die folgenden Worte: „Oh, East is East and West is West and never the twain shall meet“. „Oh, Osten ist Osten und Westen ist Westen und die beiden werden sich nie treffen“. Ich werde hier zeigen, dass Kipling nicht vollständig recht hatte. Ich versuche auf die gemeinsame Grundlage der buddhistischen Philosophie und der Quantenphysik hinzuweisen. Es gibt eine überraschende Parallelität zwischen dem philosophischen Wirklichkeitsbegriff in der Philosophie Nagarjunas und dem physikalischen Wirklichkeitsbegriff in der Quantenphysik.
